Anybody can help me with this problem.

A friend cannot view some link in the web page. My friend is using WINNT
and IE5.5. If I try using Win98 using IE6.0/Netscape 4.72/7, I can see the
link.
What the problem coule be.

Hi,

I'm confused by the pronouns you use in your post. If I understand it well,
he can't see on his computer, but you can see on yours.

In that case, the site in question might be blocked by the HOSTS file. There
is more info in http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hostsfaq.htm

It is doubtful that a HOSTS file will be preventing hyperlinks from working.
